April 23, 2010....She's going to be special needs, I think - the story that I got was that somebody saw her being dumped out of a vehicle. She has some scrapes on her back and flanks, and may have hind leg problems, either from the dumping or...?She was sitting pressed up in one corner of the pen when I saw her yesterday, lifting one front paw then the other repeatedly. Maybe raised on wire and never been on a solid surface. She was wearing a chain collar with an identifying number and USDA stamped into it, so she was part of a commercial breeding operation.We have named her Angelica and she will need alot of love, patience and prayers. She will remain with us in a special hospice home while she learns to live without fear and suffering.

Dear old Otis dumped by his owner at a kill shelter with severe hip dysplasia and collapsed trachea, luckily the shelter called us.....Otis is now a Hospice Pug....he is nuetered but needs vaccinations, bloodwork and medication to help him in his last years with us.....Sponsored by Julie Cornett, Jose and Margaret Pereira - adopted by Lisa Farrell!
